PERMANENT RESERVATIONS

Permanent reservations are available for one or two times per week (Orange and Pink Bear, three times per week. 2-day option if space allows for Pink). If you must cancel your reservation for that day because of illness, vacation, etc., please call the office as soon as possible so the spot may be filled by a potential drop-in child.

Notice for withdrawal from a permanent reservation must be given at least one month in advance. If sufficient notice is not given and the opening is not filled by the center, one month's tuition must be paid.

2007-2008 school year priority registration for current families begins January 23 and runs through February 8. New family registration begins February 20.

Hugs & Hearts asks that each family participate in two volunteer days per day your child attends the center. For families with more than one child, a six day volunteer maximum is required. The option of buying out of your volunteer days is available.

DROP-IN

Drop-In reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance of the day requested by calling the center. All drop-in reservations taken on the voice mail will be confirmed by phone call from the center. Cancellations by voice mail will be noted, but not confirmed. Please cancel your drop-in reservation by 8:30 a.m. of your reserved day. Drop-in reservations not cancelled by 8:30 a.m. will be charged the three hour minimum.

ANSWERING SERVICE

The center uses a voice mail system when the center is closed. Reservations or cancellations for either drop-in or permanent reservation may be made 24 hours a day by calling 952-930-3364.

REGISTRATION & TUITION

There is a $40 registration fee per returning family and $45 per new family ($20 after February 1 and $10 after April 1). This registration fee is non-refundable and entitles a family to make drop-in or permanent reservations. Registration for the following school year will begin in January. Parents will be notified of the date in the newsletter. Families with permanent reservations are given registration priority for the following year.

PERMANENT RESERVATIONS

The monthly tuition for each permanent reservation is:

Purple Bear	$95 per month
Red Bear	$90 per month
Blue Bear	$85 per month
Brown Bear	$85 per month
Pink Bear	$225 per month for three-day program.
Orange Bear	$225 per month for three-day program.

All reserved time must be paid for even if a child is dropped off late, picked up early, or absent. Monthly tuition is always the same (annual tuition is divided into 9 equal installments). Refunds or “day switching” are not provided for those children with permanent reservations on days the center is closed.

Tuition must be paid the first week of the month or it is considered delinquent. Please make payment by check and indicate your child’s name on the check. A $15 late payment fee will be charged for delinquent payments. All returned checks are considered delinquent payments.

Tuition reflects a 9 a.m. to 12 noon day. Tuition does not include the cost of lunch hour (12 p.m. - 1 p.m.).

All drop-in reservations must be paid the day of use. This includes children with permanent reservations who add a drop-in reservation. Drop-in reservations are not reflected in the monthly tuition for permanent reservations. All children should be registered in the office prior to bringing them to their classroom. Please make payment by check and indicate your child’s name on the check.

LATE FEES

A late fee of $5 will be charged after 12:10 p.m. (1:10 p.m. for Lunch Hour) for children remaining at the center. After 12:15 p.m. (1:15 p.m.) the fee will be $1 per minute. Pick up time is defined as the minute the child is in the custody of the parent or guardian. Children will be brought to the office after 12:10 p.m. (1:10 p.m.).
